Having a healthy mind is as important as a healthy body

Prolonged emotional difficulties such as unhappiness, anger, confusion, anxiety or fear will affect a young person's behaviour, their relationships at school and home and their ability to concentrate and learn. They may become withdrawn or unable to make friendships; aggressive or confrontational; someone who bullies or is bullied; anxious about coming to school; depressed, sad or unhappy with themselves. Any one of these symptoms could indicate that help may be required.
